The newest rumors for the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 claim some pretty incredible additions to the device. Up from 6.44 inches in the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will reportedly ship with a gorgeous 7-inch display — as well as a sweet upgrade to the battery. The most recently released Xiaomi 2 has a huge 5,300 mAh battery, but the Xiaomi Max 3 is rumored to have a 5,500 mAh battery; a 200 mAh increase from its predecessor. On top of these display changes, it's reportedly going to have a dual camera.
The battery is nearly two times the capacity of the most recently released Apple iPhone, with the iPhone X containing a 2,716 mAh battery. The iPhone 8 Plus follows at a close 2,691 mAh, with the iPhone 8 lagging behind at only 1,821 mAh. The smaller the display and the smaller the device, the less power that is needed — so having a smaller battery is not always a bad thing. Not only that, we're looking at another battery-related upgrade: fast charging! It's said to include Quick Charge.
According to the rumors, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will have either a Snapdragon 630 or a Snapdragon 660 depending on the configuration. This would be the same range as its predecessor but would be able to take better advantage of the increased battery size.
