Ever wished you could save images on Instagram? Now you can.

We've all been there, wishing you could download a cool image you saw on Instagram. Unfortunately, Instagram doesn't have the ability to do this, and it's unlikely to change anytime soon, but if you're jailbroken, there's good news for you because now you can. Made by a developer by the name of Yutao Lan, "Instagram Down Image" lets you download images from Instagram by adding a small "down" button in the bottom right-hand corner of images.

As you can see in the image above, it's pretty self-explanatory. Simply tap the button and it should save the image to your device's Camera Roll. It's as easy as just a tap. Sometimes when doing this, an ad might pop up, but just clear it away, and you should see a prompt that says "Download successful." After that, the image should be right there on your device in the Photos.app. Can't get much easier than that.

The nice thing about this tweak is that it's very simple to use and doesn't add any obnoxious changes to the app itself, just one tap of a little button, a confirmation prompt, and that's it. It's also available for free on BigBoss. Instagram Down Image is compatible with iOS 10 devices, and there are no options to configure within the Settings.app, so just install it, and you should be good to go. It's not clear if this works on older iOS versions feel free to let us know if it works for you.
