On jailbroken iOS, people like to have the best of both worlds, often times bringing an Android look and feel to your iPhone. Materia is no exception.

It's clear that Google's Pixel line has diverged from pure, stock Android by bringing Pixel-exclusive features to their devices every year, from the Google Camera app to the Pixel navigation bar. One of these new features, introduced with the Pixel 2, is a new power menu that is more simplistic and rounded.

Have a look at it below:

Materia brings this new power menu to jailbroken devices, and it functions in much the same way it would on a Pixel. Here's how to install it:

  1. Add Antique_Dev's repo to your Cydia sources.
  2. Once it's added, simply search for "Materia" in Cydia and install it.
  3. After it's installed, hold the power button as you normally would to turn off your device, and you should see the Pixel 2 power menu pop up, giving you the ability to simply "Power Off" or "Restart" as you'd expect.

That's it! Now you have a Pixel style power menu on your jailbroken device.

On newer devices, invoking Materia will cause haptic feedback, otherwise, on older devices, you'll have the usual vibration, but it's a nice touch to this otherwise minimalist tweak. As mentioned, it's available from the developer's repo for free, so you can go test it out for yourself.

Depending on screen size, the tweak will adapt to work best for your device. On smaller devices such as the iPhone 5s, it will "lower from the top-right corner," and on bigger devices such as the iPhone 6, it will "slide in from the right corner." Landscape mode, however, is supposedly still buggy but will be fixed soon.
